In recent years, we have tirelessly negotiated with safari lodges, hotels and tour companies to include Kosher menu options for our Jewish clients. Traditionally a handful of lodges in South Africa offered Kosher, and often the food was premade in a city and flown in.
Our passion is to train up and offer fresh Kosher, where possible in safari areas that form the backbone of every safari enthusiasts trip.
Our Kosher Safari Packages in Southern Africa are tried and tested on the full spectrum of Kosher clients : Kosher light, wanting basic Kosher meals made available in remote lodges, all the way to the other side of the spectrum serving strict Orthodox Rabbis who need a high level of Kosher.
Through the years we have offered our support to local Jewish senior centres and care homes, and also worked with many Jewish clients, who wanted a tailor-made Kosher holiday in Africa. Our network of Beth Din approved suppliers, mashgiachs and caterers is large enough to provide you with an excellent Kosher safari or holiday, even in remote areas outside of the larger cities in Southern or East Africa, thus ensuring your Kosher requirements are met, and you can enjoy your holiday with peace of mind that all is being taken care of in the backround. Our Kosher Safari packages can be tailor made for your needs.
We understand Kosher at a Mehadrin standard, we understand the need to be near a Shul if you are fully shomer Shabbos, and we understand the need for a Minyan. In addition, we also have access to excellent Kiddush and Kosher wines, as well as a host of Kosher approved caterers for your Sabbath meals.
Our speciality is working out the logistics in getting Kosher into the most remote places where there is no Jewish population, or where the local supply of Kosher ingredients is highly limited.
To date we are one of the only companies in the world to offer true Kosher catering in Botswana and Namibia (both countries with incredible national parks, and tourism highlights, but no Jewish population).
We are also currently opening new levels of Kosher for individual travellers and couples in countries like Tanzania and Kenya ( traditionally limited to large Kosher tour groups who bring their own chefs and Mashgiachs with them), as well as the Mozambique islands.
