ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

Namibia’ s premier national park with huge open expanses, waterholes teeming with wildlife and large sections virtually untouched by mass tourism. The famous waterholes and stark background are favoured by many international photographers for excellent wildlife photography. Private lodges border the park, and within the park itself, there are excellent accommodations available with direct views of these waterholes.

NAMIB NAUKLUFT PARK & FISH RIVER CANYON

In central and southern Namibia are two arid national parks preserving unique sand dunes, deserts, canyons, and ancient rock art sites. Namib Naukluft includes the Sossusvlei Dunes, highest in the world and the Sesriem Canyon. Fish River Canyon is the 2nd largest canyon in the world and is worth a visit en route north or south after seeing the Sossusvlei.

SWAKOPMUND AND WALVIS BAY
These towns lie on the western seaboard of Namibia, offering a respite from the heat in the summer, and oozing with quaint historic buildings, good quality restaurants and a definite German colonial influence. They are perfectly located between the southern sections of Namibia and the northern sections of Namibia, as a halfway stop.
WINDHOEK

Namibia’s capital city and key international airport hub, offering many direct flights from Europe, and even easy connections from Cape Town and Johannesburg. It is a city to start and end your holiday in Namibia, if you are flying into the nation directly. It offers the highest level of shopping, restaurants and accommodations in the nation, as well as excellent markets and museums.

THE RED KALAHARI

Situated South of Windhoek in the area between Mariental and the Botswana border, this region is famous for its red Sand dunes, Gemsbok (Oryx) antelope, Springbok and the Kalahari lions. Offering various guest farms and wilderness lodges, this region is a must see if you want a genuine wilderness experience but without sacrificing comfort.

THE CAPRIVI STRIP
This unusual strip of land stretches from Rundu all the way to the Katimo Mulilo region, offering remote lodges, camps and safari experiences in an area surrounded by Zambia, Angola and Botswana.
